We are excited to share an update to the Premier Stockman Award offered by the Michigan Youth Livestock Scholarship Fund and the Michigan Livestock Expo.

To provide more youth with the opportunity to qualify for this prestigious award, we are introducing an additional educational option. In the past, eligibility required participation in both the 4-H and FFA Livestock Judging State Contest and showmanship at MLE. This year, exhibitors will have the option to complete a knowledge quiz specific to their species to fulfill the educational requirement.

The quiz will be offered on the Thursday of MLE, with both morning and afternoon sessions available to ensure flexibility for all exhibitors. All eligible exhibitors should have received an email containing the complete set of guidelines, along with the study resources used to create the quiz. We have also included these same links and guidelines below.
