Tagging and Pre-Registration Forms
Beef, sheep and goat entries must be tagged at designated locations or by the respective species superintendent, or their designee, at a special prearranged location. The appropriate paperwork must be completed at the same time.
Swine pre-registration will include submitting DNA samples along with individual animal information. Ear notches must be included. Each exhibitor is responsible for submitting this information as there is NO TAGGING for swine.
See each respective species form for details. Information, identification and DNA samples, all or any portion of, will be used to verify ownership at the show. It is critical that exhibitors supply the correct and accurate information.
The accompanying fees associated with tagging or pre-registering must be submitted and/or collected at the time the animals are tagged and preentered.

Breeder Certificate
For exhibitors who plan to participate in the Michigan bred crossbred classes and other Michigan bred classes not requiring an individual breed association registration paper, a certificate must be completed and submitted to show management.
Animals eligible for classes requiring the certificate are indicated in the rules.
